Colombia Meeting 2014
The 3rd Meeting of ALAEQ was held in Bogotá, Colombia, November 17-21 2014. The meeting was hosted by Jorge Molina (Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá) and Nancy Barreto (Corporación Colombiana de Investigación Agropecuaria, CORPOICA), and they did a great job! The beautiful (and rainy!) city of Bogotá received about 150 participants from Latin America and overseas, including for the first time participants from Panamá and Ecuador, countries that had not been represented in previous ALAEQ meetings. We hope our meetings contribute to developing the field of Chemical Ecology in Latin American countries in which our area seems not to be present.
